Quick Start Installation The Nishansu Client is free to download. And that's the only piece of software you need. In the setup you get the option to download the Runtime Files. We recommend you to do this you install Nishansu, since these are needed to play Nishansu. The rest of the installation works as almost every installation program. After installing, you are able to start Nishansu from the Desktop or the Menu Start. Currently, only Windows-system from Windows 98 and above are supported. If you use a Linux-distribution, Mac or something else, you are currently not able to play Nishansu. Account creation Before you are able to play Nishansu, you have to create an account. Account creation is very easy. In the Nishansu Main Menu you select New account. Here you enter your account name with your password. Your account name is not necessarily your character name. The account name you select is just for logging in to the game. Your password must be kept secret, since we are not able to check if you or someone else is logging in on your account. If necessary, GM's have the ability to see and change your password. Character creation Before you create your character you must think of your character name. This cannot be changed anymore, so you have to choose a nice name. Also, we have some requirements and guidelines for the name you choose. These restrictions are to be found in our Terms of Use, with which you agreed when installing Nishansu. The rest of the character creation menu is not relevant; the gender and race are selected ingame. Now, you click Create. Then you select this character in the next menu (sometimes you need to relog and/or restart Nishansu), and click Use. Race selection Before doing anything ingame, you need to select your race. In the menu, you may click any race to see the specifics. After this, you have to select your sprite. This can be either a man or woman-sprite. Each gender has three options, so there are 6 sprites for each race and 36 sprites in total. Re-check your appearance and then click Confirm. Your choice is permanent and can only be changed by re-creating your character. The choice you make does not really affect your game play. However, to be really successfull you have to co-operate with your race. When your race does well, you do well. And if your alignment does well, you'll receive some bonusses too. Class selection Now, you have to select your class. Every class has it's own way of attacking, defending and training and has it's own weaknesses and strengths.
