Combats & Fighting Health If you run out of health, your character will die, and you'll lose most of your inventory. Health is the red bar at the left of the window. The number of Health Points (HP) you have, will increase every x seconds you are in Nishansu. You may, however, also use potions to increase your health. Leveling will increase your max health. For each level you receive 8 HP. Attributes also give you some HP. Read for more information the guide about attributes. Different Weapons To fight in Nishansu, each class has it's own strategy. Mages use spells, Archers bows and Warriors use swords. Priests aren't good in fighting - they are the only class that can heal - but they are very weak in fighting. Read more about it in the guide about the classes. Each weapon and spell has it's own 'refresh rate': Time between two attacks. Further you have to keep in mind that each NPC has a 'element'. Each element has it's weak and it's stronger variant. Check for further information the Item Basics. Fighting To start a fight, you just attack. Mages cast a spell on the target and Archers and Warriors attack using CTRL. If you are attacking a NPC, you must take in care that it's the right one for your level - and that's a hostile one. See for more information about NPC's, the guide about it. If you are attacking a player, you have to keep in mind that we have an Etiquette. That means, don't attack newbies or players from a much lower level then yours. If you are being attacked by another player or a NPC, you have just two options: - Fight back - Run away And two less likely options: - Sit back and wait (not recommended) - Call a GM (if you are attacked by a level 100 and you are level 1 or something) Written by ralphje, last edited: 2006-12-28 20:21:29 |
